WHERE WE OPERATE

Home Waters

Offshore Captain Services is headquartered on Grosse Ile, at the south end of the Detroit River where it opens into Lake Erie. From there, my regular operating territory covers the full SE Michigan corridor — the Detroit River, Lake St. Clair, the St. Clair River, the lower end of Lake Huron, and the western basin of Lake Erie. For deliveries, I run further: the Erie Canal corridor, the Atlantic ICW, the Great Lakes seasonal triangle. The pages below break down what I do in each of the major waters and communities I serve. Each one covers the local marinas, the navigational quirks, and the specific reasons owners in that area hire a professional captain. If you don't see your location below, that doesn't mean I don't work there — it just means I haven't built out a dedicated page yet. Call me.
